You can manage multiple organizations from your account, each acting as a separate workspace for your plugins, themes, collaborators, and API keys. Each organization is tied to its own subscription, on one of three plans: Free, Freelance or Agency. Each plan sets how many plugins, themes, sites and members the organization can have. You’ll find full pricing details here: wp-content.io/pricing. Typical use cases for multiple organizations:
  • Separate projects or clients
  • Different internal teams
  • Distinct billing needs
Everything related to deployment, API keys, and domain restrictions is managed per organization.

Subscription and billing

  • Currency: you can pay in EUR, USD, GBP or CHF. The currency is locked after the first payment.
  • Late payment: if a payment fails, the organization keeps its plan for a 7-day grace period, then returns to the Free plan.
  • Quotas: when the organization reaches a limit of its plan, the API refuses the new plugin, theme or site with an HTTP 402 error, and the CLI suggests upgrading. Upgrade the plan from Settings → Organization in the dashboard.
